My Prague highlights (which I highly recommend included):
The Nutcracker/A Christmas Carol Ballet
Living off Mulled Wine
Trdelnik (the best kind of donut/pastry/nutella treat)
Seeing a thousand Christmas Trees
Views of the Castle
Czech Jazz Bands
Singing Let It Go and improving my South American accent in a bar after one two many
However my trip is best summed up in my YouTube video:
If you are planning on going on a cold winter city break, here are my top tips:
Book an early flight out and a late flight return (although not too early if you can help it). Although a little sleepy, we made the most of our three days!
Wrap up warm, but it isn't the North Pole. A medium coat with a jumper and vest top underneath if fine for the daytime. Walking around definitely heats you up!
If there is a group of you, either buy all your toiletries at the airport or pay to have one large suitcase between you. The amount you spend on mini toiletries isn't worth it.
Try and save space to bring back Christmas presents (and duty free goodies).
Research and book your restaurants, especially for a large group. We spent a little too long looking for somewhere good to eat! But if all else fails, street food is amazing and well worth indulging in.Don't be ashamed to be a tourist. I videoed almost everything whilst my girls snapped away, and now we have amazing pictures and a memoir video to remember it by!
I also, however much against my first thoughts, insist that you take a selfie stick on group holidays. Without it we wouldn't have captured some of our top moments (thank you Liss!).
Thank you for a wonderful trip ladies!!
